Frontend Engineer - Institution (Luxembourg) - Freelance

Daily rate: 380-420

We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a structured and demanding institutional environment in Luxembourg.

This role focuses on modern frontend development within a collaborative and quality-driven setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, and deploy frontend web portals, applications, reusable components and libraries

• Build modern user interfaces using JavaScript and React

• Collaborate closely with team leads, tech leads, business analysts, developers, and testers

• Ensure consistency and coherence of functional and technical requirements

• Contribute to application deployment in on-premise and cloud-based containerized environments

• Participate in monitoring and continuous improvement of deployed applications

Technical Environment

• JavaScript (ES6+)

• React (functional components, hooks)

• RESTful APIs (JSON)

• Unit testing (Jest / React Testing Library)

• CI/CD pipelines

• Containerized environments (Docker-based)

• Azure DevOps (or similar tooling)

Profile

• Strong experience in frontend development with React

• Good understanding of modern frontend architecture and best practices

• Experience working in structured, multi-stakeholder environments

• Comfortable collaborating across technical and business teams

• Fluent in English
