Freelance position (pre-hiring) IT Infrastructure Deployment - Native dutch - Freelance

I'm currently supporting a leading international company in the maritime and offshore sector in their search for an experienced IT Infrastructure Deployment Engineer based in Nootdorp, Netherlands.

⚠️ Important: Native Dutch is mandatory for this position.

Your Role

As part of a global Operational Technology team, you will be responsible for deploying and commissioning IT infrastructure across marine vessels and offshore locations.

🔹 Plan and execute IT deployment projects alongside operational teams.
🔹 Conduct site visits to assess infrastructure requirements, including networking, cabling, power, and equipment installation locations.
🔹 Configure, test, and deploy servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
🔹 Lead onsite installation and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with IT standards.
🔹 Work closely with support teams to ensure smooth project handovers and continuous process improvement.

What We're Looking For

✅ Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
✅ Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure deployments (networks, servers, storage).
✅ Experience within technical project environments.
✅ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
✅ Proactive, autonomous, and customer-oriented mindset.
✅ Fluent English and Dutch are both required.
