DevOps Engineer - 6 months contract (4 open position) - Permanent

Context

You’ll be part of a DevOps team that manages Kubernetes platforms in Azure and AWS. Your task will be to support all required activities for the migration from Azure/Azure DevOps pipelines to AWS/GitHub Actions.

Missions

• Support migration activities from Azure/Azure DevOps pipelines to AWS/GitHub Actions.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms and containerized workloads in cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and provide operational support for production Kubernetes clusters.
• Design, build, refactor, and maintain infrastructure across Azure and AWS using Terraform.
• Deploy and operate JupyterHub and JupyterLab at scale on Kubernetes (for 1–2 out of 4 positions).
• Plan and execute data and storage migration, including database migration and persistent storage.
• Manage cloud and Kubernetes networking, including VNet/VPC, DNS, TLS, ingress/egress traffic, firewall rules, load balancing, and connectivity testing.
• Implement security best practices, including identity mapping, least privilege, secrets management, workload identity, container image scanning, and compliance support.
• Monitor, log, alert, and troubleshoot Kubernetes and cloud environments using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Automate migration tasks, validation checks, operational runbooks, and pipeline activities using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Nice to Have

• AKS to EKS migration experience
• Migration from Azure DevOps YAML pipelines to GitHub workflows
• Experience with JupyterHub and JupyterLab

Working Conditions

• Start date: 01/09/2026
• Contract duration: 6 months (estimated mission duration: more than 6 months)
• Location: Poland
• Office presence: 2 to 3 times per week in Warsaw, Poland
• Remote work: occasional remote work possible
