🚀 Master Data Architect (Freelance / Contract) - Freelance

On behalf of one of my clients, I am currently looking for an experienced Master Data Architect to support a strategic data structuring and governance initiative.

📍 Practical Information

• Start date: Second half of April

• Duration: 2–3 months (full-time), with possibility of extension

• Location: Offices based in Zele, Belgium, with remote work flexibility

🔎 Context

This assignment focuses on strengthening and structuring the data architecture across multiple application sites and platforms. The focus is on designing a coherent data structure, improving governance, and ensuring that data delivers tangible business value.

You will work closely with business stakeholders as well as IT teams, acting as a bridge between data and business needs, with a strong emphasis on structure, clarity, and long-term consistency.

• Define and structure the data architecture across applications and different sites

• Establish and formalize a robust data governance framework

• Clarify relationships between data domains and sources

• Ensure strong alignment between data structures and business requirements

• Provide cross-platform oversight to guarantee consistency and scalability

• Drive initiatives aimed at improving data quality and maximizing data value

👤 Profile

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, ideally in a Master Data-focused role

• Strong expertise in Data Governance frameworks and best practices

• Experience working in multi-platform environments

• Ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders and translate business needs into structured data models

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Professional fluency in English
