I'm currently partnering with a major international organisation undergoing an exciting data transformation journey and looking for a Data Architect to help shape the future of its enterprise data ecosystem.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global business operating across 30+ countries, where data is becoming a key driver of both operational excellence and customer value.

What you'll be doing

🔹 Define and drive enterprise-wide data architecture principles, standards, and best practices.

🔹 Lead data modelling initiatives across operational and analytical environments (OLTP & OLAP).

🔹 Design and optimize modern Azure data platforms, leveraging technologies such as:

• Azure Data Factory

• Azure Databricks

• Azure Synapse Analytics

• Data Lake solutions

🔹 Architect scalable data pipelines for both batch and streaming workloads (experience with Kafka, Flink, or similar technologies is highly valued).

🔹 Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and leadership teams to transform business requirements into robust technical solutions.

🔹 Contribute to data governance, security, GDPR compliance, data quality, and master data initiatives.

🔹 Drive innovation and help elevate the overall data maturity of the organisation.

What we're looking for

✅ 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Modelling, Analytics Engineering, or Technical Leadership roles.

✅ Strong expertise in data modelling and designing scalable data platforms.

✅ Hands-on experience with Azure data technologies.

✅ Good understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and GDPR.

✅ Experience delivering complex enterprise data projects.

✅ Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

✅ Fluent English.
