Tracking Specialist - eCommerce - Freelance

Context

As a Tracking Specialist within the International eCommerce Data Collection team, you will own the tracking architecture for the company’s global e-commerce mobile application. You will serve as the critical bridge between product stakeholders (Product Managers, Digital Analysts) and technical execution (Frontend & Mobile Engineering), ensuring that data collection is accurate, scalable, and technically sustainable.

You will translate overarching business and measurement requirements into precise technical specifications. Your goal is to guarantee the reliable collection of user interaction data across the digital journey, empowering the business to optimize merchandising, search, and overall user experience.

Missions

You are responsible for:

• Tracking Architecture & Strategy
  Define and govern the global tracking strategy for Mobile App platforms, ensuring consistency, technical sustainability, and scalability across all markets. Design and maintain standardized data collection event taxonomies for web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).

• Requirements Translation & Specification
  Collaborate with Product Managers and Digital Analysts to gather business measurement requirements. Translate these business needs into comprehensive technical Solution Design and clear tracking specifications for engineering teams.

• Implementation and Governance
  Own the configuration, architecture, and deployment of events. Support mobile engineering teams in the integration and evolution of mobile analytics SDKs (e.g., Firebase, AppsFlyer) and tracking APIs. Ensure all data collection respects user privacy protocols, integrating seamlessly with the Consent Management Platform and adhering to GDPR/local data regulations.

• Quality Assurance, Debugging & Monitoring
  Conduct QA testing of tracking implementations. Proactively monitor clickstream data quality, troubleshoot tracking anomalies, and support the engineering teams in resolving tracking bugs.
