Service description – Business Analyst Expert – Procurement P2P

Context and objective of the service

The service is based within a Business Procurement Solutions team in a Procurement Transformation & Governance function. The objective is to help build and optimize a landscape of procurement tools, including solutions such as Coupa, in order to enable efficient operations, improve productivity, leverage data, and support strategic stakeholder and supplier management.

The Business Analyst Expert will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that drive operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Main responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes related to the P2P part of the value chain, associated data, and the Coupa platform in order to assess the current state and identify optimization opportunities
• Translate business needs into clear and concise requirements aligned with strategic objectives
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather information, validate assumptions, and build consensus
• Develop detailed process flows, data models, and system specifications to support the implementation of new solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to project teams, with recommendations aimed at improving project outcomes
• Work in an international environment with a wide variety of stakeholders and contributors from different functions, including local procurement teams, IT, and Finance

• Business requirements documentation
• Process improvement recommendations and implementation plans
• Functional and technical specifications for new systems or enhancements
• User acceptance testing scripts and support

Profile required

Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Proven track record of delivering successful business transformation initiatives

Technical and functional skills
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools
• Strong knowledge of the Coupa P2P platform
• Ability to analyze processes, model data, and produce detailed specifications

Additional knowledge
• Familiarity with insurance industry processes and regulations

Preferred qualification
• Certification in business analysis such as CBAP or CCBA is preferred
