Senior Test Consultant - Dutch speaker - Freelance

I am currently supporting a client in their search for a Senior Test Consultant to join a dynamic team delivering complex application testing projects.

As a Senior Test Consultant, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing structured testing activities across a variety of applications, combining both manual and automated testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and oversee the execution of test plans

✅ Document, track, and manage defects and test findings

✅ Design and/or coordinate automated testing using Selenium (C#)

✅ Report testing progress to Project Managers and stakeholders

✅ Support and guide end users during testing phases

✅ Advise clients on best practices and continuous improvements to their testing processes

Requirements

🔹 Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field

🔹 TMAP and/or ISTQB Foundation certification

🔹 Minimum of 3 years' experience in software testing

🔹 Experience establishing and managing (automated) testing processes

🔹 Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

🔹 Experience mentoring or leading other testers

🔹 Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach

🔹 Fluent Dutch and English communication skills (written and spoken)

🔹 Must be based in the Netherlands
