Junior NOC Engineer - Permanent

Salary: 3000€/3200€ Gross monthly

The network team is responsible for the setup, security, and operations of the network used for a wide range of services in industrial and office contexts. The team operates across locations in Belgium, France, UK, Germany, and Switzerland. They are involved in projects such as setting up connectivity in new data centres, securing and connecting to the cloud, modernizing WAN networks, and supporting functional evolutions requested by application teams.

Missions

• Operate in a team supporting company activities running 24/7
• Work in both IT and OT environments, ensuring diligence in preparing and executing changes
• Participate in the deployment and maintenance of OT and IT systems
• Handle day-to-day team operations
• Analyse and resolve incidents and technical problems
• Support colleagues in Belgium and other parts of Europe

Tools & Environment

• Operational firewall knowledge (Palo Alto and Checkpoint)
• Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level)
• Familiarity with Cisco CLI
• Experience with Python
• Use of backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, authentication
• OT experience considered a plus
• Background in computer science preferred

Working Conditions

• Location: Headquarters – Avenue des Arts 31, 1040 Brussels, Belgium
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Duration: Initial 1 year (renewable)
• Work regime: First three months full-time in office; thereafter hybrid work possible (3 days on-premises, 2 days remote, subject to work requirements)
• Travel: Ability to travel to Belgian locations as required
• Contract type: Time & material (daily based contract)
