Project Summary

The initiative focuses on establishing a core DAM and MLR integration as the foundation for a streamlined end-to-end content process. Targeted POCs (Briefing, Workflow, Reg Checker) will assess feasibility and alignment within the future ecosystem.

The program is technology-led: DAM and MLR solutions are selected but not yet live. The mission is to redesign and optimize content-related processes in alignment with the selected systems, ensuring readiness before and during implementation.

The objective is to:

• Reduce cycle times

• Improve compliance and traceability

• Enable KPI-based performance measurement

• Prepare scalable process governance before global rollout

This is a hands-on process optimization role within a regulated environment, closely integrated with digital implementation teams.

Goals and deliverables

Main Responsibilities & Key Activities

Business Process Definition & Redesign

• Assess and document end-to-end content-related processes (as-is).

• Redesign and optimize future-state processes aligned with selected DAM & MLR systems.

• Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment within redesigned processes.

• Identify dependencies, handoffs, and governance checkpoints.

• Prepare process alignment before and during system implementation.

Automation & System-Driven Optimization

• Identify automation opportunities aligned with selected tools.

• Distinguish automation-ready steps vs. human/regulatory decision points.

• Define pragmatic automation roadmap linked to implementation sequencing.

• Translate business process requirements into automation-ready use cases.

• Work closely with implementation teams to ensure operational feasibility.

Market Approach & Pilot Validation

• Define rollout and prioritization criteria (maturity, readiness, impact).

• Support pilot design and phased deployment.

• Ensure alignment between global standards and local realities.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to governance framework supporting standardized processes.

• Define KPIs to measure efficiency, compliance, and automation impact.

• Provide structured recommendations to steering bodies.

 

Experience Required

• 7+ years in business consulting, process optimization, or transformation roles.

• Mandatory: Experience in pharma or regulated industry environments.

• Proven hands-on experience in business process modeling and redesign.

• Experience identifying automation opportunities in system-driven programs.

• Experience working alongside digital/IT implementation teams.

• Experience in global stakeholder environments.

• Direct DAM / MLR ecosystem exposure – desirable but not mandatory.

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools is a plus.

• Lean / Six Sigma / transformation certifications are a plus.

 

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
