We are looking for a Data Architect to play a key role in the evolution of a global, data-driven organization. This position offers the opportunity to shape and drive enterprise-wide data architecture, enabling strategic decision-making and business innovation through high-quality, scalable, and secure data solutions.

You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define and implement the future of the company’s data landscape, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.

🎯 Your Responsibilities

🏗️ Data Architecture Leadership

• Define and drive the enterprise data architecture vision across multiple business domains and programs.

• Establish architectural principles, standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

• Ensure consistency, scalability, and sustainability of data solutions across the organization.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on data architecture decisions and trade-offs.

📊 Data Modelling & Design

• Lead the design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models across operational and analytical environments.

• Develop robust data structures supporting reporting, analytics, integration, and business intelligence initiatives.

• Define and maintain data modelling standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.

• Support both transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) use cases.

☁️ Data Platform & Integration Architecture

• Design, maintain, and evolve modern Azure-based data platforms.

• Architect solutions leveraging technologies such as:

  • Azure Data Factory

  • Azure Databricks

  • Azure Synapse Analytics

  • Azure Data Lake

• Define and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.

• Collaborate with integration teams to establish best practices for data exchange and consumption.

• Experience with real-time and streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, etc.) is considered a strong asset.

🔐 Data Strategy & Governance

• Contribute to the development and execution of the enterprise data strategy.

• Collaborate with business and governance stakeholders to improve data quality and management practices.

• Support initiatives related to:

  • Master Data Management (MDM)

  • Metadata Management

  • Data Governance

  • Data Quality Frameworks

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and GDPR requirements.

🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration

• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.

• Act as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data architecture initiatives with business objectives.

• Contribute to strategic platform modernization and transformation programs.

🔎 Your Profile

🎓 Background & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in roles such as:

  • Data Architect

  • Data Engineer

  • Analytics Engineer

  • Technical Lead

  • Data Modelling Specialist

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures.

• Strong expertise in data modelling and data pipeline design.

• Experience delivering complex data transformation initiatives.

🛠️ Technical Skills

• Hands-on expertise with Azure data technologies:

  • Azure Data Factory

  • Azure Databricks

  • Azure Synapse Analytics

  • Azure Data Lake

• Strong understanding of data integration patterns and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience with data warehouse and lakehouse concepts.

• Exposure to streaming technologies is a plus.

• Good understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and GDPR principles.
