Android Developer Permanent Contract Or Freelance H/F

You are the creator of fluid and innovative mobile experiences on the world's most widely used operating system! Within our Mobile expertise hub in our vibrant Brussels agency, your mission is to design and develop robust, high-performance, and user-centric Android applications. On a daily basis, you will:

• Design and develop top-tier native Android applications using primarily Kotlin (and potentially Java for legacy maintenance).

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, Product Owners, and backend developers to seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs and deliver an outstanding user experience.

• Guarantee code quality and stability by writing automated tests (unit and UI) and actively participating in rigorous peer Code Reviews.

• Optimize application performance, handle memory management efficiently, and resolve bugs to ensure a flawless experience across a wide range of devices and screen sizes.

• Deploy and maintain applications on the Google Play Store, mastering continuous integration and delivery tools (CI/CD, Bitrise, Fastlane).

• Ensure a continuous technological watch on the latest Android ecosystem updates (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, new Google guidelines) to proactively propose cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Holding a degree in IT, software engineering, or computer science, you have at least 3 years of successful hands-on experience in native Android mobile development.

• You perfectly master Kotlin and possess a solid understanding of the Android SDK and modern Android development practices (Android Jetpack components, and ideally Jetpack Compose).

• You are highly comfortable with modern mobile software architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI) and version control tools like Git.

• You have a strong sensitivity for UI/UX design and ergonomics, ensuring your interfaces strictly adhere to Google's Material Design guidelines.

• Endowed with an excellent team spirit, you are curious, rigorous, and love sharing your technical discoveries with your peers.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, a passion for innovation, and fluency in English (French or Dutch is a major asset in Brussels) make you the ideal candidate for our international context.
