Business Analyst – Cards & Payments - Freelance

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Cards & Payments to join the Payments team of a leading financial institution in Brussels.

📍 Location: Brussels, Belgium

💼 Experience: 6+ years

🗣️ Languages: English mandatory; French strong; Dutch is a plus

The mission

• Analyze business needs, issues and change requests related to Cards & Payments.

• Contribute to product and service improvements across Cards, Payments, Instant Payments, Wero, Apple Pay and other payment solutions.

• Translate business needs into clear requirements, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, IT squads, architects and Operations.

• Organize and lead business and technical workshops with stakeholders.

• Define business scope, processes, target operating models and business/IT interfaces.

• Follow initiatives from business analysis through solution design, implementation and go-live.

• Coordinate and support Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).

• Challenge assumptions and assess different solution options to ensure optimal business outcomes.

• Contribute to strategic payment initiatives and process improvements.
