Business Analyst - Health, Safety and Environment System Implementation

Contexte de la mission

Impala is planning to replace the existing health, safety and environment system as it no longer meets the business requirements. We require the services of an experienced business analyst (BA) to document the business requirements, assist in compiling a request for proposal documentation pack as well as participate in the assessment and evaluation of the responses received. The BA will also be required to participate in the decision making process to select the most suitable solutions for Impala and to finally assist in the implementation of the selected solution.

Some travel to Rotterdam or Madrid is required. This is a long-term project. English and Spanish are mandatory.

Expérience requise

• 5 or more years of experience as a business analyst
• 2 or more years of experience in health, safety and environment systems in industrial environments
• Software application implementation experience
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English

• Understanding of oil tank storage and dry bulk terminals
• Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications, presentation tools and programs
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and concepts

Responsabilités

• Gather and document business requirements
• Prepare Business Requirement Document (BRD) and System Requirement Specifications (SRS)
• Document assumptions, dependencies and risks of implementing a new HSE solution
• Supervise work execution and quality of deliverables delivered by the selected HSE vendor
• Assist with user training by participating in compiling training material as well as planning, scheduling and tracking of user training
• Manage progress of deliverables assigned to the development teams and vendors
• Prepare test scenarios based on process requirements and conduct technical tests
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing sessions with key users
