Business analyst - Referential data - Freelance

We are seeking an expertise in managing data projects (within an Asset manager) alongside knowledge of referential data (financial instruments and optionally benchmarks).

NOTE: Mission is Brussels based so candidate is is expected to travel regularly to our Brussels office

The selected expertise will play a key role in ensuring the transition of data and processes from the data platform – Aladdin. This includes:

- Support the migration and integration of Security Master and Benchmark reference data into Aladdin.

- Collaborate with internal teams to define and validate data requirements, mappings, and governance standards.

- Work on data mappings / lineage.

- Ensure the integrity and consistency of the migrated data.

- Assist with testing, reconciliation, and process validation.

In terms of key competences, we’re looking for:

- Past experience in managing data projects, preferably within Asset Management.

- STRONG knowledge of Asset Management referential data (financial instruments & optionally benchmarks).

- Ability to deliver in a high-pressure environment.

- Ability to deal with large data sets (analysis, conversion, KPIs,…)

- Ability to translate data needs (as defined by business) into a functional spec to IT for development.
