Job Title:
FPSO Lead Planning Engineer
Duration: 12 months' renewable (up to 4 years)
Schedule: Residential
Location: Paris, France (On-site)
This opportunity offers a key position within a major FPSO EPSCC development, focused on planning integrity, schedule control, and project reporting across a complex offshore environment. The role will support contractor schedule review, master schedule integration, progress analysis, and critical path oversight in an international and multicultural setting. This position is well suited to candidates with strong Primavera P6, project controls, and offshore oil and gas planning expertise.
Required Education:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling oil and gas projects, including FPSO or offshore developments.
• Strong understanding of EPSCC project phases and interfaces.
• Experience supervising junior planners and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules, progress measurement methodologies, and planning deliverables.
• Experience supporting change order evaluations, risk assessments, and project reviews.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Ability to define and maintain planning tools in line with project control requirements.
• Strong capability in schedule integration, deviation monitoring, forecasting, and critical path analysis.
• Ability to prepare and deliver progress reports, dashboards, and planning KPIs for stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to identify planning interfaces, assess delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.
• Commitment to applicable safety instructions and company HSE rules.

Activities:

• Define and maintain planning tools in compliance with project control requirements.
• Review and validate contractor schedules, progress measurement methodologies, and reporting deliverables.
• Integrate contractor schedules into the overall project master schedule and monitor deviations and impacts
• Monitor the progress of project activities.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, dashboards, and planning KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and analyse potential delays and propose corrective actions.
• Verify the critical path.
• Oversee project schedule for management with the responsibility of informing all parties of the
• overall schedule status, highlighting any anomalies and providing detailed analysis as required.
