Job Description: Logistics IT Project Manager

Ekkiden is seeking a Logistics IT Project Manager to lead system integration and enhancement projects for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms. This role bridges logistics operations and IT, ensuring seamless project execution, stakeholder alignment, and user adoption in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end IT projects, including WMS enhancements and logistics system integrations.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical system specifications.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (IT, logistics, business, and vendors) to ensure alignment.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, while maintaining timelines, quality, and scope.
• Oversee EDI interface integrations (AS/400, Generix, etc.) and ensure post-go-live operational smoothness.
• Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive user training and adoption of new systems and processes.
• Ensure quality assurance across all deliverables, adhering to company and industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–9 years of IT project management experience, preferably in logistics, retail, or fashion industries.
• Hands-on expertise with EDI interfaces, WMS platforms (Generix, AS/400), and logistics system integrations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and system architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (English required; German is a plus).
• Analytical mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to manage resources and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to relocate to Cologne (on-site presence mandatory).
