As part of the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Data Platform modernization program, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and operation of strategic data products and data pipelines supporting Wealth Management activities.
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand data needs and design scalable solutions.
Support the design and implementation of data pipelines using batch and basic streaming ingestion mechanisms.
Contribute to the integration of data from Azure Blob Storage into Snowflake using DBT.
Develop and maintain simple DBT models, tests, and transformations across the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
Support technical data modeling and the structuring of normalized and denormalized data.
Write and maintain basic SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Support data quality checks, including checks for null values and duplicates.
Run data pipeline jobs and support CI/CD activities in development environments.
Apply governance and security standards.

At least 5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer.
Experience working in Banking, Asset Management, Private Banking, or Wealth Management environments.
Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms.
Experience building production-grade data pipelines.
Data Pipeline Design (Bronze to Silver to Gold): Basic understanding of medallion architecture concepts.
Azure Blob Storage: Ability to integrate data from Blob Storage into Snowflake using DBT.
Data Ingestion (Batch/Streaming): Familiarity with data ingestion mechanisms.
Snowflake: Experience with the Snowflake user interface or CLI and complex queries.
Technical Data Modeling (Bronze to Silver to Gold): Understanding of normalized and denormalized data.
Data Quality and Testing: Ability to add complex checks.
Builds data products with data description and feeds the Marketplace.
Data Governance and Security: Understanding of access-control principles.
Implements automated CI/CD pipelines with tests and environments.
Designs scalable, cost-optimized lake structure with governance and security.
Designs robust orchestration strategy with monitoring and self-healing pipelines.
Implements advanced macros, snapshots, testing framework.
Monitors usage (Snowflake, storage & compute) and avoids waste.
Writes optimized and complex SQL (performance-aware).
Designs full Snowflake architecture (performance, concurrency, governance).
Fluent in English and French; German is optional.
Snowflake Certification.
Experience building AI-ready semantic layers.
Experience with Data Marketplace initiatives.
DBT Certification.
