Context

As part of its Target Architecture roadmap, the organization has set up Databricks and Dataiku platforms on top of an AWS environment and has launched several migration projects.
These projects aim to rebuild and modernize use cases previously implemented using various technologies such as SAS, AWS SageMaker, and BW/HANA.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dataiku Expert to join a project team responsible for rebuilding the functional logic of legacy SAS programs.
The outputs of these programs are critical and are used by Finance and Regulatory Reporting teams.

The objective of the role is to combine Databricks (for storage and compute) with Dataiku (for data transformation), leveraging Dataiku Visual Recipes as much as possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex data transformation pipelines using Dataiku, in line with defined guidelines (e.g. development vs automation node usage, preference for low-code visual recipes).

• Under the governance of the Tech Lead, leverage Databricks compute capabilities to optimize data processing in terms of performance and cost.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the entire data transformation lifecycle.

• Perform knowledge transfer to both the project team and the business teams who will take ownership of the solutions in the future.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise with Dataiku for complex data transformation and ELT processes, including extensive use of Visual Recipes and plugin development.

• Strong skills in SQL and other relevant programming languages such as Python.

• Solid experience in data warehousing projects.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and its compute architecture.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL/SAS and data warehousing.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Dataiku.

• Dataiku Developer Certification is required.
