Context & Mission

This Electrical Engineering SME (with strong electrical domain expertise) will support a modernization initiative focused on the modernization of the EcoDial application calculation engine and the validation of result equivalence with ETAP, in order to clearly define the modernization target.

The role is critical to enabling the start of the software modernization via Slingshot, a key strategic opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining and validating representative electrical test models and expected baseline outputs for the calculation engine

• Supporting the analysis and interpretation of differences between EcoDial and ETAP results

• Distinguishing between expected behavior, defects, and tolerance or modeling differences

• Acting as a domain reference to support software modernization decisions

• Collaborating closely with software, architecture, and product teams

Technical Scope

• Electrical distribution

• Low and medium voltage

• Application domains may include data centers, industrial environments, buildings, and mobility (full coverage is not required)

Profile & Experience

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

• Junior to intermediate profile (young graduate with 1–2 years of experience, or slightly more experienced profiles considered)

• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering with the potential to grow into an SME role

• English professional proficiency required

Electrical Engineering Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical architectures involving multiple components

• Ability to contribute to:

  • Cable sizing

  • Protection selection

  • Reading and understanding electrical schematics

• Capability to analyze complex electrical systems and validate calculation results

• Deep knowledge of electrical standards (IEC, etc.) not mandatory

Software & Tooling Exposure

• Interaction with internal engineering tools, particularly:

  • Electrical calculation tools

  • Simulation tools

Technical Environment (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to WPF

• Understanding or willingness to learn C# (context of tool migration)

• Prior software development experience is a plus but not mandatory

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-electrical stakeholders

• Curiosity, adaptability, and learning mindset

• Comfortable working in cross-functional, international teams
