Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Marketplace team to build a brand-new product from the ground up, managing the creation and distribution of core artifacts like OS images and container images.
Your mission will be to lead and develop the software components and architecture for our Marketplace platform in order to deliver a scalable, diverse, and high-performance product offering to all Scaleway users.

We work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together.
You will be part of a team of initially 1 person (yourself), with the objective to recruit and grow the team to approximately 5 to 10 engineers. As this is a new initiative, you will work closely with Product Management (Marie Debard) and Engineering leadership to define the technical vision.

🗓️ Your Daily Routine

Tasks
* Design and develop the Marketplace platform architecture from scratch
* Implement backend services primarily using Go and SQL
* Create and manage the lifecycle of artifacts, including OS and container images
* Develop and maintain robust APIs to power Marketplace features
* Architect distributed systems focused on high scalability and microservices
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Core Engineering and Product teams
* Participate in the definition of technical specifications and product roadmaps
* Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and documentation
* Recruit, mentor, and lead the future members of the Marketplace engineering team
* Balance hands-on development with strategic engineering management

ABOUT YOU
HARDSKILLS:
* Strong proficiency in Go an
