Role Context

As part of the Group Data Office, the Proxy Product Owner Data will support the Corporate Finance team in executing its Finance Transformation program. The program covers Process Automation, P2P (Procure-to-Pay), O2C (Order-to-Cash) processes. The role ensures that all finance transformation initiatives with a data dimension are properly captured, structured, and aligned with the Group Data Office standards, patterns, and delivery frameworks. This is a cross-functional, highly collaborative role, bridging Finance, IT, and Data teams, ensuring efficient delivery and adoption of data-enabled solutions. Primary Mission Act as a Proxy Product Owner Data for the Corporate Finance Transformation program, enabling data-driven execution by ensuring projects are:

• Correctly identified as having a data component

• Captured and aligned with Group Data Office priorities

• Structured according to group architecture patterns, solutions, and standards

• Delivered efficiently with the right governance and technical guidance

1. Project Identification & Curation

Responsibilities

• Identify finance transformation initiatives with data impact

  • Assess business value and feasibility

Ensure prioritization and inclusion in Group Data Office backlog

Finance Process Expertise & Transformation Support

1. Responsibilities

   • Provide expertise on Corporate Finance processes

   • Support transformation initiatives across:

   • P2P (Procure-to-Pay)

   • O2C (Order-to-Cash)

   • Finance process automation

   • Ensure data solutions support finance operational needs

   • Finance process mapping and documentation

   • Transformation use case definitions

   • Process improvement recommendations

. Process Automation Enablement

1. Responsibilities

   • Support implementation of process automation initiatives

   • Contribute to automation use cases using Dataiku

   • Ensure data integration and quality for automation workflows

   • Automation use case backlog

   • Automation solution specifications

   • Data pipeline and integration requirements

Delivery Coordination

1. Responsibilities

   • Coordinate between Finance teams, IT, and Group Data Office

   • Monitor project progress and remove blockers

   • Ensure delivery alignment with transformation milestones

   • Project progress reports for each topic

   • Risk and dependency tracking

   • Delivery status updates to stakeholder

Standards, Governance & Best Practices

1. Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

1. Responsibilities

   • Act as primary data contact for Finance Transformation program

Required Experience

• 10–12+ years experience in Corporate Finance, Finance Transformation, or Finance Operations

  • Strong experience in P2P (Procure-to-Pay), O2C (Order-to-Cash), and other Finance processes

  • Hands-on experience with Process Automation platforms (e.g., Dataiku)

  • Experience working with data teams or in data-enabled transformation projects

  • Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, FP&A tools, AR/AP platforms)

  • Experience working in large-scale or multinational organizations preferred

Technical Skills / Knowledge

• Strong corporate finance knowledge, including P2P and O2C processes

  • Process automation experience, particularly with Dataiku or equivalent platforms

  • Understanding of data management principles, enterprise data standards, and BI/analytics

  • Ability to translate finance business requirements into technical data requirements

  • Reporting on progress of each topic/project to stakeholders
