A fully independent gas infrastructure group active in the transmission and storage of gas as well as LNG terminalling services is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst and coordinator. The company is focused on achieving carbon neutrality and, together with its stakeholders, contributes to a better society by shaping a bright energy future. Relying on the strengths of its gas infrastructure and on its commercial and technical expertise, the group aims to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane and other carbon‑neutral energy carriers of the future.

Mission context and objectives

The position is within the energy industry, a highly regulated sector where compliance and precision are critical. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing business processes, gathering requirements and supporting the implementation of IT solutions that align with regulatory standards and organisational goals. The role involves coordinating initiatives with autonomy and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams where the analyst’s insights directly shape IT solutions used across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate initiatives with a high level of autonomy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business, IT and external partners) so that insights directly shape IT solutions used across the organisation.
• Take an active role in defining project goals, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
• Analyse and document AS‑IS and TO‑BE processes across multiple business areas.
• Requirements gathering: work with stakeholders to identify and document business and functional needs.
• Data analysis and reporting: interpret data to support recommendations, decisions and process improvements.
• Process analysis: review current workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.
• Risk identification: detect inconsistencies, gaps or potential risks early in the analysis phase.
• Solution design: recommend IT solutions to address business needs together with other IT teams and external partners.
• Solution support: collaborate with technical teams to design, test and validate solutions.
• Documentation: maintain clear and structured documentation of findings, decisions and solutions.
• Project management: oversee the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they meet requirements and are delivered on time.
• ICT delivery: contribute to software delivery within an ICT delivery team.
• Training and support: provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout all project phases.
