Description de la mission :

In the context of an Agentic AI transformation within a major group, the semantic layer is identified as an intermediary layer between data sources and end users or consuming systems. Its role is to abstract underlying data structures (tables, column names, joins) into a business-friendly vocabulary including concepts, definitions, relationships and rules that can be interpreted by both humans and machines.

The semantic layer is identified as a key component to enable LLM-based agents to interpret data in a trustworthy manner and to support the scalability of Agentic AI across multiple use cases.

Objectives of the mission :

The mission aims to explore entities and implement an initial approach for a semantic layer, including its related tools and technologies, based on selected Agentic AI use cases.

Service deliverables

Deliverables include, but are not limited to:
• Entity exploration
• Implementation of a first approach to the semantic layer
• Definition of business vocabulary
• Work on ontologies
• Definition of business processes
• Structuring of data products
• Data product mapping
• Identification or use of related tools and technologies

Expertise required

• Expertise in data platform engineering, including installation and management of data tools and services
• Expertise in data engineering, including data modelling and data products
• Expertise in Databricks
• Expertise in data management, including data quality, semantics and ontologies
• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake
• Expertise in AI, LLMs and Agentic AI
• Experience working in large-scale, federated and complex organizations, with collaboration across entities
• English is mandatory

Qualifications :
• Databricks certification
