We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager – Group Accounting to support a leading international organization during an exciting transformation phase.

In this role, you will combine strong accounting expertise with people leadership, managing a team of finance professionals while driving key finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. You will oversee the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead the successful execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

📄 Contract: 7-month freelance assignment with possible extension

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and accountable team culture.

• Support team engagement, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

• Lead year-end closing activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

• Review balance sheet reconciliations and monitor closing controls.

• Coordinate internal and external audit activities

Finance Transformation & Projects

• Lead and contribute to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.

• Support change management activities and promote operational excellence.

• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to identify efficiencies and improve collaboration.
