About Us & The Challenge

We are accelerating our development to bring an ambitious vision to life. We are a tight-knit, agile team of 5 (engineers + product designer) split between Paris and London, where every line of code matters and innovation is in our DNA.

Note: We are currently in the build phase, and our product hasn't launched yet. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level, build our Android application from scratch, make foundational technical decisions, and directly shape the product from a blank canvas.

The Role

As an Android Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Building from Scratch: Designing and developing our native Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Defining the Architecture: Making foundational decisions around application architecture, state management, networking, persistence, background processing, and testing.

• Crafting the Product: Working closely with our product designer and engineering team to turn product ideas into polished, intuitive Android experiences.

• Engineering Quality: Establishing strong foundations for testing, observability, performance, and releases from day one.

• Tech Ownership: Contributing to technical decisions and engineering best practices with a critical mind and a continuous improvement mindset.

• Team Life: Participating in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 2+ of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Kotlin and native Android development.

• Modern Android: Strong knowledge of the modern Android ecosystem, including coroutines, application lifecycle, networking, persistence, and asynchronous programming.

• Product Mindset: You care about performance, interactions, edge cases, and all the small details that make an application feel great to use.

• Craftsmanship: Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code is non-negotiable for you.

• Language: Professional English is mandatory to collaborate effectively with our international team (Paris/London).

• Mindset: Autonomous, curious, and proactive. You learn fast, challenge assumptions, and enjoy taking end-to-end ownership of features.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

• Deep knowledge of Android platform APIs and performance optimization.

• Experience with offline-first applications, synchronization, or complex background processing.

• Experience integrating Rust or other native libraries with Android.

• Good understanding of LLMs and agentic workflows.

• Prior experience building public-facing B2C products.

• Contract: Full-time permanent contract (CDI).

• Location: Office located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.
