Frontend Developer (H/F) – React & React Native

PIXID manages more than 222,000 companies connected to over 12,000 temporary work agencies. Each month, they exchange more than 2.5 million documents, representing a purchasing volume estimated at nearly €11 billion!

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to maintain technical excellence across the frontend stack.

The challenge is twofold: migrate existing Angular and mobile applications to robust React and React Native solutions, while establishing scalable frontend standards and best practices across the entire product ecosystem.

You will join an Agile Scrum squad building the next generation of microservices and modern frontend applications at the heart of a fast-evolving SaaS platform.

🎯 Your mission

As a Frontend Developer, you will act as both a key technical contributor and the frontend reference within the team.

You will actively contribute to development while defining the standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices that will shape the frontend ecosystem for the long term.

You will work closely with:

• Product Owners to translate business requirements into high-quality user experiences.

• Backend Developers to design clear, efficient, and maintainable API contracts.

• Product and Design teams to challenge and continuously improve the user experience (UX).

👉 Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership & Frontend Practice Development

• Define and drive frontend development standards across React and React Native applications.

• Establish code review processes, architectural patterns, and shared quality guidelines.

• Mentor frontend developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

2. React / React Native Modernization

• Lead React version upgrades across the application portfolio.

• Ensure smooth migrations through robust, incremental testing strategies.

• Reduce technical debt while maintaining product stability and continuity.

3. Quality, Testing & Frontend Engineering Excellence

• Establish and maintain a test coverage target of at least 80%.

• Build and maintain a balanced testing strategy (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests).

• Promote Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) where appropriate.

• Ensure the performance, reliability, and maintainability of frontend applications.

4. UX, Design System & User Experience

• Work closely with Product teams to challenge and improve UX decisions.

• Ensure accessibility, performance, and visual consistency across applications.

• Build and maintain a shared component library and design system.

• Use Storybook as the foundation for component development and documentation.

5. Frontend Architecture & Monorepo

• Optimize the monorepo architecture supporting multiple React and React Native applications.

• Build and maintain shared libraries along with efficient, scalable build pipelines.

• Implement micro-frontend patterns to support progressive migrations using the Strangler Fig approach.
