Fullstack Developer - Vue/Python - Freelance

Context

You will join a fintech environment operating critical payment flows for merchants and end users, including Payment Service Provider (PSP) integrations and KYC/KYB compliance processes.

This is a high-stakes financial context involving:

• High-volume transaction processing

• Regulatory compliance constraints

• Strong reliability and financial accuracy requirements

• Automation of verification and payment workflows

The roadmap includes improving onboarding flows (Vue-based forms), optimizing PSP integrations, and further automating international payment and compliance processes.

Tech Stack

• Backend: Python – FastAPI

• Frontend: Vue.js

• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Monitoring & Observability: Datadog, Sentry, Grafana

• Architecture: REST APIs, distributed services

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python (FastAPI)

• Implement and secure PSP and KYC/KYB integrations

• Develop and enhance onboarding interfaces using Vue.js

• Contribute to automation of payment and verification workflows

• Ensure robustness of financial flows (idempotency, error handling, transaction consistency)

• Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting

• Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews

• Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, and Compliance teams

Profile

• 7+ years of experience in Python development

• Strong expertise with FastAPI

• Proven experience in fintech / payment environments

• Solid experience with Vue.js

• Experience with cloud environments (GCP preferred)

• Strong focus on reliability, security, and performance

• Comfortable working hybrid (2–3 days onsite in Paris)

• Autonomous, structured, and quality-oriented
