📌 Context & Project Overview

We are partnering with a fast-growing UK-based Fintech Unicorn (~350 employees, £100m+ revenue) providing a global Merchant of Record platform for digital and software businesses. Beyond traditional payment processing, they manage global tax compliance, payment routing, and customer support for their clients.

You will embed as a Go Tech Lead within their mature engineering organization (~100–150 engineers) on a strategic internal product.

The core initiative focuses on building advanced data and reporting capabilities, quantifying the operational and financial value delivered to clients (e.g., automated tax handling, support ticket reduction metrics) with a roadmap evolving toward AI-driven insights and business performance optimization.

🎯 Role & Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Drive the technical design, architecture, and delivery of Go-based microservices running on AWS.

• Engineering Standards: Maintain high technical standards, code quality, and delivery practices within a structured, mature engineering environment.

• Product Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional product teams to turn business and reporting needs into scalable, resilient backend solutions.

• Innovation: Help pave the way for upcoming AI-enabled features and automated recommendations within the product.

📍 Location & Working Setup

• Full remote from France is accepted, provided you can travel to London a couple of times (all expenses paid).
