IAM / PAM Consultant (Wallix) - Freelance

Daily rate: 550€/700€ (depending seniority) - CDI preferable

Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week

Context

We are looking for an experienced IAM/PAM Consultant with strong Wallix expertise to support a major organization in Brussels in strengthening its Identity & Access Management and Privileged Access Management framework.

The consultant will work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to design, implement, and optimize privileged access governance in a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Wallix Bastion & PAM solutions

• Lead or support PAM onboarding of infrastructure, applications, and service accounts

• Define and enforce privileged access policies, RBAC models, and governance processes

• Integrate Wallix with:

  • Active Directory / Entra ID

  • LDAP

  • SIEM solutions

  • ITSM tools

• Support audits (ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, internal controls)

• Perform risk assessments related to privileged accounts

• Contribute to IAM/PAM roadmap and maturity improvement

• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Proven experience with Wallix Bastion (mandatory)

• Strong knowledge of Privileged Access Management concepts

• Experience with:

  • Active Directory

  • Entra ID / Azure AD

  • LDAP

  • Windows & Linux environments

• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, etc.)

• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python) is a plus

Soft Skills

• Autonomous and proactive

• Strong stakeholder communication

• Structured documentation skills

• Ability to work in complex enterprise environments

Languages

• Dutch + English OR

• French + English

Profile

• 5+ years of experience in IAM/PAM

• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments is a plus

• Certifications (Wallix, CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security, etc.) are an asset
