ENTER THE GAME 🎮                                  

As an Intern Product Owner, you will join one of our Product teams (Sport, Gaming, Grow, Payment, Authentification, etc.) and report to a senior Product Owner.

You will be a key player in defining and implementing the strategy of one of Betclic’s core products, across France and international markets (Portugal, Poland…).

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥

In this role, your main missions will be to assist your manager and take part in:

• Contributing to the overall product strategy and identify projects to simplify, streamline, and enhance the experience for Betclic users
• Writing user stories while ensuring compliance rules are met, track progress, and validate deliverables on time
• Prioritizing the backlog, plan and coordinate sprints, and ensure agile/scrum best practices are followed within your squad
• Guaranteeing product quality, maintain documentation, and perform functional analyses in case of incidents
• Monitoring KPIs defined, and ensure A/B testing and tracking are implemented with the support of the Data team
• Working closely with departments such as IT (especially your squad's Engineering Manager, your day-to-day partner), UX/UI Design, Data, Marketing, Customer Service, Compliance, and other product squads

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious students who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm.

This internship is for you if:

• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering, or Digital Business (or equivalent)
• You have at least 6 months of experience (internship, work-study program) in digital, e-commerce, or startup roles (or equivalent)
• You are curious about technologies, platforms, and how to ensure their security
• You have already been introduced to Agile principles and view AI as an opportunity to deliver products of ever-higher quality
• You are fluent in French and English (B2 minimum), both spoken and written
• You are organized, eager to learn, and proactive in solving problems.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

• If your application is shortlisted, Benoit will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (20 minutes)
• Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning) and a use case
• Next, you will meet Paul, Staff Product Owner and your future manager, and Sylvain, Engineering Manager.
• Finally, you will meet Benoit again to review your Assessfirst results

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
