Lead Front-End Architect (H/F)

Could you be the Lead Front-End Architect (M/F) in Villeurbanne that we are looking for?

Your future role

You will be particularly responsible for ensuring the consistency, quality and industrialization of user interfaces, in strict alignment with UX/UI storyboards and business needs. We will look to you to:

• Define and drive the Front-End vision in collaboration with inputs from Human Factors experts and Product Owner needs.
• Support the choice of standards and the development of the design system.
• Select Front-End architectures and patterns (monoliths, micro-frontends, Progressive Web Apps, UI shell).
• Contribute to building and maintaining reusable UI component libraries and theming systems.
• Ensure alignment between UX/UI choices, technical decisions and product needs.
• Organize development, testing and deployment strategies while ensuring quality, including participation in development activities.
• Review and challenge deliverables in terms of performance, security, accessibility and maintainability.
• Support and coach Front-End teams.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, architects, UX/UI teams, and systems and platform teams.
• Contribute to product roadmaps and technical reviews within the Digital Foundry.

Your profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent, with solid experience in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of industrial-grade Front-End applications.
• Proven technical leadership in architecture, mentoring and code reviews in Agile or product-oriented environments, with the ability to establish a consistent vision across the applications within your scope.
• Strong UX/UI sensitivity and ability to work closely with designers and Product Owners.
• Pragmatism, high standards and impact orientation, with a focus on end users and long-term maintainability.
• Fluency in English and ease working in an international context.
• Key technical skills: UX/UI prototyping (Figma), frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular), languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3), API integration (REST APIs, WebSockets, Maps), security (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, Front-End best practices), performance optimization and accessibility by design.
