Project Coordination Lead - Luxembourg - Freelance

Context

Within a public research and academic environment in Luxembourg, the organization is currently managing 36 active IT and security-related projects.

To strengthen overall project governance and operational efficiency, the client is looking for a senior project coordination profile to support and relieve an internal collaborator currently handling project oversight in addition to other responsibilities.

The objective is not to introduce heavy methodology, but to bring structure, coherence, and pragmatic oversight across multiple initiatives.

Multi-Project Oversight

• Monitor progress across 36 active projects

• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and interdependencies

• Provide consolidated visibility to management

• Support prioritization and workload balancing

Harmonization & Structuring

• Align project tracking formats and reporting practices

• Introduce lightweight governance principles

• Ensure documentation consistency

• Improve clarity of deliverables and milestones

Operational Support

• Relieve the current internal project lead

• Facilitate coordination between IT and security teams

• Support teams in clarifying scope and objectives

• Ensure action items are tracked and followed through

Reporting & Communication

• Provide clear, concise, and structured reporting

• Maintain transversal visibility across initiatives

• Support decision-making with structured updates

Experience

• Senior or confirmed profile

• Proven experience in IT project coordination

• Experience in IT and/or cybersecurity environments

• Experience managing or overseeing multiple parallel projects
