Automation QA Engineer:

Stormshield, the leading French publisher and a reference European player in cybersecurity, is a subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Programmes and offers innovative, certified and European‑level qualified security products for protecting networks and data. To support our growth, we are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with solid technical knowledge, autonomy, team spirit and passion.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in IT security, a sense of responsibility and several years of experience in software quality—especially test automation—and is motivated to contribute to the excellence of our products.

What are the responsibilities of the Automation QA Engineer?

• Participate in defining the product test strategy;

• Design test scenarios and automate them;

• Analyse test results;

• Characterise, prioritise and report all anomalies encountered during testing phases;

• Propose improvements to the testing process;

• Act as the go‑to person for test automation and help other QAs ramp up their skills in this area.

What is the technical environment?

• Repositories: Jira, XRay, Confluence

• Automated tests: Python, Cucumber, Playwright, Typescript

• Continuous integration: GitLab CI, Git

• Methodology: Agile, Scrum, BDD

Which team?

You will join the MUM team, managed by Nina. The team consists of more than 30 people (Developers, QAs, Technical Leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Quality Manager and Support Leads), split into four sub‑teams and organised in two‑week sprints.

Recruitment Process

A phone interview with Nina, accompanied by the architect, to present the team’s way of working and the vision for the role.

A technical interview with Nina and part of your future team, including development exercises.
