Requirement & Test Automation Engineer - Permanent

Our client is a Swiss technology company active in the development of innovative solutions for aeronautics, including radar visualization, flight plan management and decision-support tools for air traffic controllers.

Thanks to an increase in documentation and testing activities on one of its systems, the company is looking for:

A Requirement and Test Automation Engineer

with experience in a safety-critical domain

You are extremely rigorous; you have proven experience in setting up/building test automation frameworks and creating test cases in a safety-critical domain, as well as experience in requirements and testing for mission-critical software. You are looking for a challenge in a complex technical environment.

As a member of a highly qualified team, you will participate in software specification, documentation writing and testing applications for Air Traffic Management systems.

Your mission

• You work autonomously in an Agile team and in a continuous improvement spirit.

• You collaborate with systems end users and other teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.

• You read and understand regulation rules and quality levels that the products need to comply with.

• You read and understand Functional System Requirements provided by the Business Analyst.

• You write, review, and update the Equipment System Requirements and perform the traceability to the Functional System Requirements.

• You create and maintain test cases providing coverage of Equipment System Requirements.

• You create and maintain automated tests using Python.

• You support writing, reviewing, and updating the Component Requirements and ensure the traceability to the Equipment System Requirements is correct.

• You support creating and maintaining test cases providing coverage of Component Requirements.

• You have notions on how to create and maintain automated tests using Java, Java Custom JUnit frameworks and Gherkin.

• You execute manual and automatic tests and report results.

• You analyze and describe issues/bugs in the issue database (JIRA). You perform analysis of defects to find the root cause of problems.

• You synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool.

• You perform formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Tests).
