Senior Front-end Developer (Angular)

Location: Brussels, Belgium (2 days/week on-site) Languages: French or English required — Dutch is a plus, not mandatory Contract: Full-time

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Front-end Developer with strong Angular expertise to join our team in Brussels. You'll design and build modern, user-friendly interfaces for ambitious digital products, working closely with designers, analysts, and backend developers to deliver clean, performant, and scalable front-end solutions.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on-site in Brussels. Fluency in French or English is required; Dutch is a nice-to-have but not essential.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern Angular applications with a strong focus on UX and usability

• Build reusable, component-based UI architectures that scale across products

• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and WebSockets

• Ensure responsive design across desktop and mobile interfaces

• Collaborate with designers, analysts, and backend developers to shape product decisions

• Contribute to front-end architecture choices and technical roadmaps

• Write and maintain tests (unit, component, and E2E) to guarantee code quality

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Angular and modern front-end architectures

• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and building user-friendly interfaces

• Proven experience with responsive design and mobile interfaces

• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS

• Experience integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets

• Experience with component-based development and reusable UI libraries

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Vitest, Playwright, or equivalent tools

Nice to Have

• Experience with GIS applications

• Knowledge of OpenLayers or other web mapping libraries

• Experience with mobile development (PWA, Capacitor)

• Experience with E2E and component testing strategies

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and a genuine care for usability

• Collaborative mindset — comfortable working with designers, analysts, and backend developers
