The Senior Functional Analyst / Solution Designer acts as a trusted partner for business stakeholders by conducting studies autonomously and designing pragmatic, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. The role combines business analysis, functional analysis, and solution design to bridge business and IT teams while ensuring feasibility, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.

Missions

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, issues, and objectives
• Challenge requirements to ensure relevance, clarity, and value generation
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce complexity
• Conduct end-to-end studies independently from problem framing to solution proposal
• Analyze impacts across processes, systems, and organization
• Design simple, scalable, and cost-efficient IT solutions aligned with enterprise architecture
• Evaluate solution options and recommend the most appropriate approach
• Promote reuse of existing solutions and standard platforms before proposing new developments
• Perform high-level cost/benefit analysis to support decision-making
• Act as a bridge between business and IT teams
• Facilitate decision-making with clear and structured recommendations
• Align with architects, security, and delivery teams when needed
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of decisions
