Senior IP Network Engineer

Mission Overview

We are looking for a Senior IP Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of advanced network infrastructures within a large-scale critical environment.

You will work alongside internal IT teams, architects, and operational staff to design and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable network architectures supporting multi-site environments and data centers.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to modern infrastructure projects, network architecture evolution, and the integration of new technologies within a complex and high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Design

• Design and implement modern IP network architectures

• Define optimal architectures considering capacity, reliability, redundancy, and cost

• Introduce and validate new network technologies

• Develop and execute test plans for new infrastructure

Network Infrastructure Implementation

Provide implementation and operational expertise for:

• L3 IP Networks

• Multi-VRF / VRF-Lite

• IP/MPLS

• Campus switching architectures (multi-VLAN)

• Wireless networks with centralized controllers and lightweight access points

Cybersecurity & Connectivity

Support and maintain secure network environments including:

• Firewalls

• DMZ architectures

• Authentication systems

• Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)

• IPsec VPN

• DMVPN

• FlexVPN

Network Operations & Support

• Manage and maintain existing network infrastructure

• Define technical procedures and standards for network management:

  • Remote configuration

  • Inventory management

  • Backups

  • Monitoring and alerting

  • Network Management Systems (NMS)

• Provide technical support for operational teams

• Troubleshoot complex network incidents

• Define preventive measures to avoid recurring incidents

Vendor Management

• Coordinate with network vendors during:

  • Infrastructure deployment

  • Network extensions

  • Incident resolution

Knowledge Sharing

• Coach team members during the introduction of new technologies

• Lead technical workshops and documentation efforts

Profile Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

  • Telecommunications

  • Electronics

  • Information Technology
    or equivalent technical experience

Experience

• Several years of experience as a Senior IP Network Engineer

• Strong experience managing multi-site network infrastructures and data centers

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in:

• L3 IP networking

• Multi-VRF / VRF-Lite

• IP/MPLS

• Campus switching (multi-VLAN design)

• Firewall & DMZ architectures

• Authentication and IPS systems

• IPsec VPN / DMVPN / FlexVPN

• Wireless infrastructures with centralized controllers

Nice to have:

• Experience with Nokia routers (SR-OS)
