Senior Network Engineer - Industrial - Permanent

Context

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team at a leading energy and facilities company to manage, support, and optimize an international network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our office network as well as industrial networks (technical and DCS network).

Missions

• Monitor network performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage cabling, including the identification of UTP cables.
• Collaborate with third parties and various stakeholders in an industrial environment.
• Provide excellent communication and support to internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across enterprise, technical, and industrial network environments.

Tools & Environment

• Fortinet solutions including firewalling, SD-WAN.
• Cisco ISE.
• Enterprise routing and switching protocols: BGP, OSPF, VRF.
• Enterprise-grade WiFi environments.
• Cloud networking technologies such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Zscaler technologies: ZIA, ZPA.
• DCS Networks and vendors such as Siemens, ABB, and GE.
• Solarwinds for network monitoring.
• Industrial environment with familiarity in powerplant operations.

Working Conditions

• Location: Antwerp, Belgium.
• Requirement: Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently to powerplants across Europe.
• Experience: 5-10 years in industrial environments (including VCA certification).
• Languages: Proficient/Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
