Senior Windows System Engineer - Permanent

Salary: 550€/650€ or permanent contract

About the Role

A major international infrastructure organization is expanding its Windows Engineering team to support multiple entities across corporate intranet and secure network environments.

We are looking for a Senior Windows Server Engineer with strong security expertise and proven enterprise-level experience. You will play a key role in managing, hardening, and optimizing large-scale Windows environments while contributing to third-level support and automation initiatives.

This is a high-responsibility position for someone who thrives in complex, security-driven infrastructures and takes full ownership of their domains.

Your Responsibilities

🔐 Security & Infrastructure

• Manage and operate the TrendMicro security suite (or similar), with a strong focus on host-based firewall management (not network firewall)

• Design, harden, maintain, and support Windows Server operating systems

• Ensure security compliance across both standard and secure network environments

🖥 Systems Management

• Manage and maintain SCCM / MECM environments

• Manage Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments

• Support and maintain Active Directory infrastructure components

🛠 Support & Operations

• Provide 3rd-level support for Windows, SCCM, RDS, and security-related domains

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and security issues

• Write, validate, and maintain operational processes and documentation

⚙ Automation & Scripting

• Develop and troubleshoot advanced PowerShell scripts

• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and security posture

Technical Requirements

Mandatory

• Senior-level operational experience within Microsoft Windows Server environments

• Proven experience with:

  • Active Directory

  • SCCM / MECM

  • TrendMicro or similar endpoint security solutions

• Strong understanding of host-based firewall management

• Experience in large enterprise environments (±2000 servers / 5000 users)

• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills

• Fluent in:

  • French or Dutch (one must be native level)

  • English
