Software Developer - Embedded Systems M - F H/F

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of a dynamic R&D environment, you will contribute to the development of real-time embedded software solutions for power systems protection, automation, and control.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop software in C/C++ for real-time embedded devices used in power systems protection, automation, and control
- Participate in the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and validation
- Work within an R&D-oriented environment focused on high-reliability systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in a dynamic and collaborative setup
- Support debugging, optimization, and maintenance of embedded Linux-based applications
- Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement of software quality and processes
- Participate actively in technical discussions and problem-solving activities

YOUR PROFILE & PERSONALITY

You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and have at least 1 year of experience in embedded software development.

You have strong experience in:
- C/C++ programming (mandatory)
- Embedded systems development
- Multithreading and/or multi-process concepts
- Basic knowledge of Linux environments

You are also:
- Team-oriented and comfortable working in collaborative environments
- Self-organized, proactive, and results-driven
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Motivated to continuously learn and improve technical skills

Nice to have:
- Bash scripting skills
- Knowledge of communication protocols/technologies
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts
- Understanding of power systems and basic electronics
- Experience with version control systems (Git/SVN)
