We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join a transformation/project team within a leading banking institution in Belgium.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and coordinating the overall testing strategy, ensuring that applications and solutions meet the required quality standards before release.

The role involves close collaboration with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, IT teams and business stakeholders in a complex banking environment.

🔹 The mission

• Define and maintain the overall test strategy and test approach for assigned projects.

• Establish test plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.

• Coordinate testing activities across project teams and stakeholders.

• Manage functional, integration, system, regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ensure appropriate test environments, test data and test tooling are available.

• Coordinate and support business users during UAT.

• Manage defect identification, prioritisation, tracking and resolution.

• Monitor and report on testing progress, quality, risks, defects and test coverage.

• Identify and proactively manage testing risks and dependencies.

• Ensure testing activities are aligned with project timelines and release plans.

• Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers and third parties where applicable.

• Challenge test results and ensure quality criteria are met before production releases.

• Provide clear communication to Project Managers and senior stakeholders regarding testing status and release readiness.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies and ways of working.
