💼 Your responsibilities

As a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist, you will:

• 🔧 Administer, maintain, and support VDI & Terminal Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for end users

• 💻 Manage the lifecycle of workplace configurations, from deployment and maintenance to testing and continuous improvement of desktop & virtual desktop solutions

• 📦 Design, package, test, and deploy applications using MSI, App-V, and other virtualization/distribution technologies

• 🌐 Provide expertise in remote computing architectures, contributing to the design, integration, and optimisation of virtual workplace & remote access solutions

• 🚑 Troubleshoot incidents & perform root cause analysis across VDI, terminal services, application delivery, and end-user computing platforms

• 🤝 Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure compliance with IT policies, best practices, and service management processes, while driving modernization initiatives

🧠 Qualifications

🎓 Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
🗣️ Fluent English (C1 minimum)
🧩 8+ years of experience in VDI (design, deployment, administration, troubleshooting, optimisation)

✅ Strong hands-on experience with Citrix (Virtual Apps & Desktops, NetScaler)
✅ Solid expertise in Windows environments (Windows 11 & Server)
✅ Experience working with Linux systems 🐧
✅ Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
✅ Strong knowledge of VMware (ESXi, vCenter, Horizon)
