Senior AML/KYC Analyst - Fund Administration - CDI/Freelance - Freelance

Context

A financial institution in Luxembourg is strengthening its Transfer Agency AML/KYC team, which serves investment funds (UCITS and alternative funds: Private Equity, Real Estate, Debt, Infrastructure). Two senior positions are open: one focused on investor onboarding, one focused on the periodic review (recertification) of existing investor files. You will manage AML/KYC files in full autonomy, from simplified to enhanced due diligence.

Missions

• Manage AML/KYC files in full autonomy, from simplified due diligence (SDD) up to enhanced due diligence (EDD)
• Perform AML/KYC analysis and risk assessments at client/investor onboarding and during periodic reviews, in line with internal procedures, Transfer Agency AML/KYC guidelines, the investor KYC policy and SLAs
• Make sure every step is followed and completed according to the rules in place: document collection, screening, UBO identification, risk assessment, approval process
• Prepare and submit high-risk assessments for Compliance approval, and coordinate the approval process
• Communicate with clients and investors, and support internal and external stakeholders involved in onboarding and review
• Keep an accurate record of all AML/KYC requests from receipt to completion and ensure data quality
• Escalate risks and blocking issues to management in a timely manner and propose a course of action
• Act as a key point of contact for questions raised during the KYC process
• Contribute to AML/KYC side projects

• Transfer Agency, investment funds: UCITS, Private Equity, Real Estate, Debt, Infrastructure
• Regulations: Luxembourg AML/CFT framework, AMLD, FATCA, CRS, AIFMD, DAC6, UBO identification
• Close collaboration with the AML/KYC team, Compliance, Transfer Agency operations and fund clients

Working Conditions

• Contract: Freelance, CDI or CDD: we will find a solution as long as you are the right candidate
• Location: Luxembourg, on site (no remote work)
• We are looking for people ready to relocate and work in Luxembourg
• Salary / daily rate: depending on profile
• 2 positions: onboarding and periodic review (recertification)
• Languages: English and French
