Description du poste

You will join BNP Paribas Group Data Office in Montreuil and take on a Group-wide, cross-functional role at the intersection of business, regulatory, data management and data governance, and artificial intelligence priorities.
With a strong business and operational focus, this role will enable you to act as a true Business Partner to the business, while playing a key role in translating regulatory requirements into concrete and operational solutions.
You will work closely with Business, Operations, Data teams, Group functions and IT teams to turn the Group's ambitions and requirements into pragmatic, effective solutions adapted to operational realities.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a true Business Partner to Business and Operations teams. You will develop an in-depth understanding of their business priorities, processes, challenges and constraints. You will identify data-related issues and value creation opportunities, challenge expressed needs and co-create pragmatic, simple and actionable solutions.
  • Supporting regulatory priorities and translating them into operational solutions. You will help turn regulatory and governance expectations into clear and actionable requirements for Business, Data, IT and Operations teams. You will seek to balance regulatory compliance, risk management, business value and operational feasibility, with a pragmatic and proportionate approach.
  • Making data management and data governance drivers of business performance, risk management and transformation. You will lead the vision and priorities for enterprise data governance, particularly in areas such as data quality, data lineage, data ownership and data controls, ensuring alignment with the Group's business and regulatory priorities.
  • Turning principles and standards into concrete operational frameworks. Working closely with Business, Operations, Data and IT teams, you will support their deployment across the Group. You will help remove implementation obstacles, monitor adoption and effectiveness, and leverage lessons learned to continuously improve the Group's approach.
  • Creating alignment across stakeholders on Data, regulatory and artificial intelligence priorities. You will bring together Business, Operations, Data, IT and central functions around shared objectives. You will also help ensure consistency between data governance and artificial intelligence governance and support artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence initiatives in defining appropriate and pragmatic governance mechanisms.
The position is based in Montreuil, France.
WHAT'S NEXT?

This experience will broaden your understanding of the Group's businesses and functions and may open up opportunities for other senior responsibilities in Data, Regulatory, Transformation, cross-functional leadership and Artificial Intelligence.
You hold a Master's degree or equivalent university qualification in Finance, Economics, Law, Management, Data, Information Technology, Governance or a related field.
You have at least 10 years of professional experience, ideally in banking or financial services, including experience in senior or leadership responsibilities.
