Context

As part of the expansion of an international team dedicated to critical trading applications, a major player in the financial markets is looking for a Junior Techno-Functional QA Engineer.

The consultant will work in a technical and collaborative environment alongside developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and experienced QA Engineers. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in functional testing, backend/API testing, test automation and the validation of business-critical applications where reliability is essential.

Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables

The consultant will contribute to the preparation and execution of testing activities, including:

- Contributing to the definition of test strategies, objectives and scope;
- Preparing and executing manual and automated tests;
- Participating in regression testing and release validation;
- Identifying, reproducing, analysing and tracking defects;
- Documenting test results, coverage and associated risks;
- Collaborating with development teams to validate bug fixes;
- Contributing to the development of test automation scripts using Python;
- Using Linux, Git and databases to support investigations;
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes;
- Using AI tools to support test design, automation and documentation, with systematic human oversight.

Le profil recherché

Profile wantedRequired Skills1 to 2 years of experience in QA, software testing or software development;Knowledge of software testing fundamentals;Initial experience in functional, backend or API testing;Good foundational knowledge of Python;Knowledge of Linux, Git and SQL or databases;Ability to analyse and document defects;Interest in test automation and AI tools;Fluent in both English and French;Experience with Jenkins, Jira/Xray, Selenium, Playwright, Qt or financial markets would be an advantage.Please note: CVs must be submitted in English.
