Product Owner / Responsable sous-systeme (SSO) m/f)

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Product Owner / SSO Manager (m/f) to join our TCAAO - Optical Operations department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team involved in the operational and commercial exploitation of some of the highest-performing Earth observation satellites on the market (SPOT, Pléiades, CO3D). Within the Platform & ACS division, you will be involved in the end-to-end management of the ACS subsystem (connectivity, data transfer, notifications) aimed at driving its vision, budget trajectory, and successful execution.

Your challenges:

• Define and drive the vision, evolution roadmap, and delivery schedule of the ACS subsystem.
• Build, defend, and monitor the associated budget while prioritizing evolution requests (value/cost/time arbitration).
• Manage suppliers and contractors (scoping, progress monitoring, deliverable quality, and adherence to commitments).
• Coordinate ACS integration with IT and Platform Engineering teams while interfacing with stakeholders.
• Monitor performance indicators and contribute to the Platform Engineering / DevOps transformation approach.

Your profile:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical product, subsystem, or program management.
• Strong expertise in project management (planning, budget, risk management).
• Proven experience in managing suppliers and external contractors.
• Strong technical interest in Cloud architectures, containerization, and DevOps approaches.
• Fluent in French and English.

This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities. The candidate must hold French nationality in accordance with IGI 1300 of August 9, 2021 (§1.2.2.1).
