Do you have solid experience in embedded software development and want to work on next-generation automotive platforms integrating multiple software environments?

As part of an R&D project for a major automotive technology company, we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the evaluation of new HW & SW solutions and support the analysis and comparison of various technical approaches.

Your Responsibilities

As part of a small agile team working in a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) environment, you will contribute to low-level embedded software development activities, including:

- Contributing to the porting of complex software components across different SoC platforms. If bootloaders, bare-metal environments, virtualization, and low-level debugging are familiar territory for you, this project will provide an exciting and challenging technical playground.
- Participating in the integration and evaluation of different automotive compute platforms.
- Working with Embedded Linux, QNX, and Android Automotive environments.
- Analyzing the behavior, power consumption, and performance of various technical solutions (Power & Performance analysis).
- Contributing to the execution and comparison of software across multiple hardware platforms.
- Addressing communication challenges between various platform components.
- Working with automotive networking and communication protocols, particularly SOME/IP.
- Identifying technical challenges and contributing to their resolution.
- Providing technical expertise and recommendations to support architecture and technology decisions.

Profil recherchéRequired ProfileYou hold a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field and have 8+ years of experience in embedded software development and/or software architecture.You have strong experience in embedded systems and expertise in:Embedded LinuxQNXAndroid Automotive / Embedded AndroidNetwork and communication protocols (experience with SOME/IP is a strong plus)Experience in one or more of the following domains would be particularly relevant:AutomotiveIoTAerospaceOther safety-critical embedded environmentsYou are autonomous, comfortable working on complex technical topics, and able to step back from a problem to identify pragmatic and effective solutions.Fluent English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.Practical Information📍 Location: Sophia Antipolis, France💼 Experience Level: Senior Engineer (8+ years of experience)
