Context
A nuclear energy organization is strengthening the continuity, resilience and recoverability of critical IT services as business processes and operational activities become increasingly digitalized. Nuclear safety and the secure, reliable operation of facilities remain priorities, alongside long-term operations, production-unit extensions and decommissioning under regulatory requirements.
The mission supports alignment between IT recovery requirements and the existing Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and establishes the framework, governance, recovery approach and documentation needed to improve operational resilience and preparedness for major disruptions.
Mission
Lead the definition, documentation and implementation of an IT Continuity Plan (ITCP). Translate business continuity requirements into a structured IT continuity framework covering critical IT services, dependencies, recovery objectives, recovery strategies and response procedures. Work with business stakeholders, IT teams, cybersecurity experts and external service providers to develop, validate and test the plan in alignment with the BCP, regulatory requirements and applicable corporate standards.
The scope includes critical business applications and supporting platforms; server, storage and backup infrastructure; network and telecommunications services; identity and access management; Digital Workplace services; cybersecurity recovery and resilience; third-party IT providers and dependencies; disaster recovery testing; and IT continuity governance, documentation and compliance reporting.
Principales responsabilités
Define the ITCP approach, methodology, governance framework and deliverables.
Align the ITCP with the BCP, regulatory requirements, NIS2 obligations, internal audit recommendations and corporate frameworks.
Coordinate infrastructure, network, hosting, cybersecurity, application and support teams, as well as strategic partners and subcontractors.
Identify critical IT services, systems, dependencies and recovery requirements supporting business continuity objectives.
Define, document and maintain Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs), recovery procedures and restoration priorities.
Consolidate contributions from IT domain owners into a coherent, integrated ITCP, aligned with Business Impact Analysis outputs.
Organize workshops, walkthroughs, validation activities and agreed recovery testing; assess the effectiveness of documented recovery strategies.
Document gaps, risks, assumptions and recommendations, and follow up on remediation and improvement actions with stakeholders.
Maintain the IT continuity documentation repository and ensure plans, tests and improvement actions are auditable.
Ensure ITCP documentation and project deliverables are complete, consistent and ready for handover; prepare evidence of compliance and alignment.
Provide regular status updates to steering committees and management on progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, continuity readiness and recovery testing.

Profil recherché
Expérience
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in one or more of IT infrastructure or operations, IT service continuity or disaster recovery, cybersecurity or resilience, and IT governance, risk or compliance.
Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization is required.
A master's degree in IT, engineering, information security, business continuity or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience in complex, regulated or critical environments is preferred.
Compétences techniques
Clear understanding of IT continuity and disaster recovery principles.
Knowledge of business continuity, recovery objectives (RTO/RPO), risks and business impacts.
Understanding of governance, procedures and compliance requirements, including NIS2.
Belgian NSA Security Clearance at SECRET level, or willingness to obtain it in the near future.
Category B driving licence and access to a car.
